Tensioner & Idler Bearings
Tensioner pulley is a belt tensioner used in automobile transmission system. The tensioner pulley is mainly composed of a fixed shell, a tensioning arm, a wheel body, a torsion spring, a rolling bearing and a spring shaft sleeve. It can automatically adjust the tensioning force according to the different tightness of the belt, so that the transmission system is stable, safe and reliable.
Tensioner pulley is a vulnerable part of auto parts. The belt is easy to wear out after a long time, and the belt groove will appear to be stretched after being worn deep and narrow. The tensioner pulley can be automatically adjusted according to the wear degree of the belt through the hydraulic unit or damping spring. In addition, with the tensioner pulley, the belt runs more smoothly, has less noise, and can prevent slipping.
The function of the tensioner pulley is to adjust the tightness of the belt, reduce the vibration of the belt during operation, prevent the belt from slipping to a certain extent, and ensure the normal and stable operation of the transmission system. Generally, it is replaced together with cooperative accessories such as belts and idlers to avoid possible problem.
Tensioner bearings are divided into two types: integrated and separated. The integrated type is that the outer iron frame is connected to the inner or outer ring of the bearing, which is simply a bearing. The separated type is an iron frame outside, and then a 6007 or other ordinary ball bearing is pressed inside.
The main function of tensioner bearing is to ensure its rotation accuracy and change sliding friction into rolling friction. The tensioner bearing can also support the mechanical rotating body and reduce the friction coefficient during its movement.
